Your GPX data

When you upload a GPX file and search for fuel stations, your route's bounding box coordinates are sent to our own server at f.pitstopper.net. This server holds a local copy of publicly available fuel station data from GOV.UK. Your data is not sent to GOV.UK or any other third-party server.

Your GPX file is processed entirely in your browser. We do not store your route data, your GPX files, or any search history.

Analytics

We use Umami, a privacy-focused, open-source analytics tool, to track anonymous visitor counts. Umami does not collect personal data, does not use cookies, and complies with GDPR. We use it simply to understand how many people use the tool.

Fuel price data

The fuel price data displayed on this site is sourced from GOV.UK and data.economie.gouv.fr and is updated regularly. We are not responsible for any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in this data. Prices shown may not reflect the current price at the pump.

Where we detect prices that appear anomalous (e.g. significantly above or below average), we flag them with a warning, but we cannot guarantee the accuracy of any individual price.
