About PLC Tracker

A free tool built by a parent to help students take control of their GCSE revision

history_edu Why I Built This

PLC Tracker started as a personal project to help my son with his GCSE revision. His school provided PLCs (Personal Learning Checklists) for each subject - essentially lists of every topic he needed to know for his exams.

The problem? These PLCs came as printed PDFs. Lots of them. Managing multiple sheets of paper, trying to track progress across subjects, and keeping everything organised quickly became overwhelming. We needed something better.

So I built PLC Tracker - a simple web app where students can:

What started as a tool for one student has grown into something I hope can help many others facing the same challenges.

volunteer_activism Free to Use, No Ads

PLC Tracker is completely free to use, and I'm committed to keeping it that way. I also don't run any adverts on the site - students need to focus on their revision, not be distracted by ads.

I've considered offering some of the more advanced features for a small fee, but for now I've decided to keep everything free and open. If PLC Tracker helps your child (or you!) and you'd like to support its development, I have a Ko-fi page where you can leave a tip.

Running and maintaining this site takes time and has real costs. If you've found PLC Tracker useful, a small tip would be greatly appreciated and helps keep the site running.
